This story speaks about Joao, a small puppy, who had experienced a cruel an extreme cruel life since he was born. He was forgotten, unloved, neglected, and starved.
The dog spent weeks wandering the streets to fend for himself, with every bone and rib stuck out of his small body.
The shelter staff knew they had to help the dog when they found him. They were able to take him and started treating directly.
Joao kept having vomiting and diarrhea, his body was covered in wounds, his mouth was bruised, and he was also anemic.
Thankfully, he started eating by himself after being treated for weeks. The great thing was that he started improving every day by the care of the vets. Watch the video below.
