An engineering student saw a very rare and nice black leopard in an Indian nature reserve called Radoba Reserve while being there for a safari trip. The student spotted the leopard stalking its prey and drinking from a pond in the reserve.
The main reason of the leopard’s unique dark coat is the opposite of albinism, melanism, that gives more black pigments in the hair or skin, which makes the hunting mission easier for the predators. With just 2,000 black leopards in the wild, it is a big fear that they will be extinct soon!
