Two elderly men sat side by side on a park bench, enjoying the warm afternoon.
A young woman jogged past them, dressed in a sports bra and shorts. One of the men smiled to himself. Noticing, the woman stopped and frowned. "Why are you grinning at me like some creep?" she asked.
The old man chuckled warmly. "Oh, I wasn't smiling *at* you, my dear. I was smiling because no matter how hard life gets, a beautiful summer day and the sight of youth always lifts an old man's spirits."
Touched by his words, the woman smiled, leaned in, and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before continuing her run.
As soon as she was out of earshot, the man turned to his friend with a satisfied grin. "That makes it 3-0. Your turn next."
