A great number of Hollywood celebrities including Sadie Sink, Billie Eilish, and Kaley Couco signed a letter to the NYC Council after a malnourished horse called Ryder collapsed after pushing a carriage for many hours during high temperatures.
Unfortunately, no one answered the request, but the NYC police made sure that the horse was taken to a rehabilitation farm to be treated for his trauma. Unfortunately, the horse died after 2 months of the incident, according to some of the US animal organizations.
The horse showed clear signs of trauma, poor health, and malnutrition, according to some caretakers of the rehabilitation farm, where the horse was before he died.
The only good thing of what happened with Ryder is that the video of the incident went viral making the story a public case with many people defending the horse asking justice for him, according to the director of animal association called NYCLASS, Edita Birnkrant. Watch the video below.
