Mother's love is stronger than anything no matter what the creature is and this story proves that perfectly. A mama cheetah saw a hunting lion trying to eat her cubs, so, she started chasing it off to keep her cubs safe.
A 35-year-old photographer called Kisemei Saruni was able to take some photos of the incident, that took place at the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
You can see in the video below that the mama cheetah decided to surrender at first, but when she saw the lion running after her cubs she started chasing it away. It is known that cheetahs can cover 200-300 meters in less than a minute, so, the mama was able to chase the lion to let it run away.
She then stayed in a defensive position next to her babies to keep them protected. This is the real meaning of mother's love. How awesome!
