In response, to the mothers inquiry about what was troubling him Duke promptly guided them towards the babys room. Panic gripped the family as they discovered that Harper wasn't breathing; immediately dialing 911 for assistance.
Their prompt action proved crucial in saving baby Harpers life in time.
Baby Harper was rushed to the emergency room. The doctors were able to save her life.
If the family had arrived one second later they wouldn't have been prepared to save baby Harper. It was all thanks, to Duke, their dog who woke the parents up in time and bravely saved the day. Besides being a companion for the family Duke was able to repay his owners for giving him a chance by saving baby Harpers life.
