A little puppy called Louie was rescued by the Michigan Humane Society. Louie was in very bad conditions, his hair was matted, his appearance was sullen, with signs of neglect on his body, and was hardly recognizable.
Fortunately, Louie's life was totally changed when Mandy Looney came to save him. Mandy Looney fell in love with Louie, when she was strolling in the shelter doors, and she wanted to adopt him.
Not only Mandy’s life had changed, but her elderly father's, Joe too. Joe, suffers from dementia, and he becomes agitated at 3:30 every afternoon. However, Louie could calm Joe and became a canine companionship to him. Now, the two are best friends ever.
