Betty Burns of Heart of LCAC and fellow volunteers were alerted about a matted-ball-of-fur dog roaming a property in Clinton, South Carolina, so, they directly set out for rescue.
When they arrived at the scene, they were completely shocked as they were just able to recognize the 9-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix by hearing his pant.
They shaved off more than 15 pounds of fur to set him free! The best thing was that Pat, the dog, was so happy to be seen as a dog again. He also starts playing and running around. He just wants a forever home to complete his happy ending. Watch the video below.
