Cheesecake, a dog found wandering in Oklahoma was rescued by a group called A Friend of Jack.
Upon learning that this sweet pup needed a home Iliana Broad stepped in. Welcomed Cheesecake, with open arms after being captivated by her charm.
Since Iliana resided in Denver arrangements were made to fly Cheesecake from Oklahoma to her home. Despite the journey the pup seemed unfazed knowing that a brighter future awaited her.
"Our primary focus initially is to ensure the settles in comfortably eats well gains weight and gets some much needed rest " explained Iliana.
Cheesecake adapted well to her surroundings; however Iliana couldn't shake off the feeling that there might be something hidden about her foster pup.
Suspecting that pregnancy wasn't the cause of Cheesecakes expanding belly Iliana brought her home. Kept an eye on her nonetheless. As time passed it became evident that there was indeed more, to Cheesecakes situation than initially thought.
Iliana had an intuition that Cheesecake might be pregnant and she suspected that, during the visit to the vet she was probably in the early stages of pregnancy which is why the scans didn't reveal anything.
She decided to take Cheesecake to the vet for another check up. To everyones surprise the scans showed that not was Cheesecake but she was just days away from delivering her puppies.
The ultrasound displayed puppies that it was hard to count them accurately. One vet thought there were nine while another suggested ten leading to a moment of laughter among them!
As a mother
A week, with Broads assistance Cheesecake gave birth to nine adorable and healthy puppies.
Sticking with the cake theme each of the pups was named after flavors associated with their mother; Mocha, Oreo, Pumpkin, Strawberry, Blueberry, Cocoa, Fudge, Vanilla Bean and Turtle.
Unfortunately

Cheesecake fell seriously ill. Couldn't nurse her babies.
Iliana again stepped in to help and together with her partner
they began bottle feeding each pup.Even though it required a deal of effort Iliana didn't mind all.
Having gone through experiences together the couple couldn't bear to part ways with Cheesecake so they made the decision to formally adopt her.
Once all the puppies grew up healthy and charming all nine of them quickly found loving homes.
As, for Cheesecake she is now living her life able to focus on herself without worrying about the hardships of life, on the streets.
