The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Sedalia, Colorado, was contacted by many people to tell them about a chained-up dog outside a home during a heavy snowy storm.
The dog, who was forced to stand in freezing, was covered in falling snow! So, the Sheriff’s Office directly called the owner, who told them that the dog choses to stay outside as it has access to food and shelter.
Early this morning, a DCSO deputy was able to get through the snow on Stump Rd to check on “Colorado". He reports that Colorado appeared happy and healthy, had access to shelter, food, and water. He was also satisfied that there were no violations. pic.twitter.com/QrBHIx6zty

Unfortunately, deputies are not able to check on the dog physically as it was not accessed. The most shocking thing was that, despite all of that, the Sheriff’s Office say that it was not an abuse case, explaining that the dog can adapt itself in winter! What do you think?!
