Dog Waited Burned-Down Home For Owners For Weeks To Return After Surviving Wildfire

When Andrea Gaylord returned home after one month of the Camp Fire, to see what is left of her home, she was overjoyed and completely shocked to see her pet survived.

Madison, the dog, was waiting patiently for Gaylord to return home. So, she called an animal rescue volunteer, Shayla Sullivan, who checked on their property.

The volunteer was already taking care of Miguel, Andrea’s other pet. She said that she left water and food for an Anatolian shepherd mix, Madison. The best feeling ever is to see your dog after thinking that you miss it.
