The friendship in animal world is just more than sweet, especially when it is between 2 different species. 5 small cheetah cubs are currently being cared at Cincinnati Zoo by a nursery dog, as Willow, their mama, died before a few weeks.
The cubs’ mother died due to cesarean birth’s complications, which left the cubs with no one to take care of them. Thankfully, the Australian shepherd, Blakely, was brought to the rescue.
Dawn Strasser, the cubs’ keeper, said that Blakely is a real hero, as he took care the cubs as he were their dad. He added that the dog is the teacher of the baby cheetahs, and he teaches them how to play and jump on rocks gently. Watch the video below.
