Falestine, a lioness, lives at the Rafah Zoo in the southern Gaza Strip in Palestine. The 14-month-old lioness was declawed by zookeepers on 12th of February 2019, to allow visitors to play with her.
This has been decried as cruel by animal rights campaigners. The owner of the park, Mohammed Jumaa, said that they did that to reduce aggressiveness of Falestine in order to be friendlier! What do you think?! Watch the video below.
