Introducing Princess, a 15 month English Bulldog who miraculously survived after being discovered unconscious on the street.
Princess was suffering from demodex mange. Was severely undernourished weighing 18 pounds and 12 ounces (considerably less, than the healthy weight of a bulldog her age, which should be around 45 pounds).
Her condition was so dire that she could hardly manage to stand.
Fortunately Adopt A Bull Rescue stepped in. Immediately took Princess to the veterinarian for care.
During their examination it was revealed that Princess had been enduring mange since she was a puppy. Sadly her previous owners had purchased her from a store. Returned her once they discovered she had this ailment.
What precisely occurred after Princess was brought back to the store or puppy mill remains unknown. However there is a suspicion at Adopt A Bull Rescue that whoever had custody of Princess intentionally neglected her until abandoning her.
Presently their primary focus is on nursing Princess to health. The good news is that there are expectations, for a recovery!
With time and care Princess has already managed to gain some weight and regain mobility. It's incredible how much of a difference a few days of love can make. And here's the latest fantastic update; Princess has found a home. Has been adopted!
