An injured dog found abandoned by a Good Samaritan in York, South Carolina. The Pit Bull Terrier was taken in by York County Animal Control to treat him as he was suffering from bite wounds to his body, neck and head.
The dog was undergone a surgery as he also needed skin grafts on his ears, that had been literally ripped off. Thankfully, they found that the pit bull still hears. The surgery was successful and the dog was also given antibiotics for his heart worm and injuries.
The vets believed that the pit bull was used as a bait dog, repeatedly exploited, mutilated and attacked. Scooter, the pit bull, was living in a foster home until he was completely healed. He is now living in a forever home with a loving family. How lucky!
