This story speaks about Oso, who was surrendered to the Downey Animal Care Center shelter in Southern California.
The Chow Chow mix, who arrived at the shelter before the 4th of July weekend, stared at a wall alone and heartbroken. The staff knew that he was suffering from a few skin conditions.
It was completely obvious that he was defeated and heartbroken, but no one knows the reasons of his abandonment. Oso's photo and story were shared online by a volunteer animal rescuer called Robin Barker, which helped him to find an adopter in Oregon and a foster in L.A.
Thankfully, he was pulled from the shelter with the help of a friend. What a happy ending!
