Jake, a family pup, got rescued by firefighters after got caught in a house fire. He was taken to the veterinarian by his family, and he was also abandoned there! They did not a scarred, burnt dog anymore.
The poor pup, who was so scared and confused, was a few weeks old when he was abandoned. Thankfully, he was completely recovered after some weeks of rehab, but the scars remained.
Jake was then adopted by the firefighter who saved him. That made Jake an official member of the fire department. Jake does many things to make a difference in his training to be a therapy dog. What a happy ending!
