A utility worker in Wilcox, Arizona saw a brown bear stuck up a utility pole. He directly called the supervisor to notify him for assistance. So, Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Co-op sent Apprentice Lineman Gallego and Lineman Warner Newbauer to help the bear.
The bear's life was at real risk, as there were 7200 volts on the lines near the head of the bear. The bear would've directly died if he touched any electricity line. So, the worker directly cut the lines' power, then went to help the bear. They used their boom truck to approach the bear.
Newbauer started talking to the bear after being 6 feet close to it, he even coaxed him down with usuing an eight-feet fiberglass stick. It was not the best thing for the bear, but it did work. Thanks to these workers, who saved the bear from a certain death. Watch the video below.
