Saving animals is one of the hardest jobs ever, shelters and rescue organizations always work hard to save the poor animals! But they also know that they can’t save all of them, which is a heartbreaking reality.
The founder of Speranza Animal Rescue, Janine Guido, had to face that reality when she met Watson, a poor dog who was found alone in a Philadelphia park by a college student, who directly took him to an emergency vet.
The pit bull was then transferred to the shelter, where the workers did what they could to save him, but the cancer was stronger than them. So, they just wanted to comfort him in his final days.
When Guido felt that Watson was going to die, she held him in her arms all the night, so he does not have to die alone! How Merciful!
