A 101-Year-Old Woman Adopts A 20-Year-Old Cat.

This story speaks about a 20-year-old cat called Gus, who was surrendered to the shelter by his former owner for unknown reason. The shelter examined him and found that he was healthy for a cat in his age.

It is known that being old means that Gus would not have a big change to find a forever home. But the fate had a different opinion as a family called the shelter looking for a pet to company their elder mama. They specifically asked to have a senior cat to adopt.

The family told the shelter that their old mama, who is 101 years old, had recently lost her cat, and she just wanted to have another companion to stay with her in her golden years. Knowing the age of the woman, the shelter was cautious, but the family assured them that they will help their mama, Penny, in taking care of the cat.

Thankfully, it was a win-win for both Penny and Gus as Gus finally had a forever home, and Penny finally had another companion. What a happy ending!
