Leslie Aguillard, a 31-year-old woman from Louisiana, stole a truck of a man with his dog inside got 12 years in jail as she left the dog to die in the heat!
The truck of David Mohr was parked outside a doughnut shop with the air conditioner and engine running when it was stolen. Roleaux, Mohr’s dog, tried to stop Aguillard from stealing the car, but he got run over twice.
The truck was then abandoned in a hot barking lot with the dog locking inside, who then died from heat! So, the woman, who was on drugs during stealing the car, has pleaded guilty to several charges, including aggravated second-degree battery, aggravated animal cruelty, and carjacking, she will serve 12 years in jail.
