Rare Baby Zebra Born With Dots Rather Than Stripes

This story speaks about Tira, a rare zebra foal, that was seen in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. Tira was born without the white and black stripes that are usual in zebras!

Tira has an eye-catching polka-dot pattern and a gorgeous brown-colored coat! This condition of Tira is called pseudomelanism, which is a condition in zebras that causes genetic mutations causing abnormality in the stripe pattern, according to some experts.

Unfortunately, most of these rare types of zebras do not live more than 6 months. We wish that Tira’s condition is different. Watch the video below.
