Police Officers Honor Their K-9 Partner With The Most Touching Goodbye

Hunter, a K-9 dog, worked with Michael D’Aresta, his partner, for 10 years for the Middletown Police Department in Connecticut. Unfortunately, after his great effort, he was diagnosed with cancer.

So, the officers at the police department decided to let him know how much they loved him on his last day. Middletown K-9 boss SGT. Doug Clark, said that the vets recommended that euthanizing was the best option as he had a very aggressive type of liver cancer.

The tough decision was made by D’Aresta who held Hunter in his arms in his last farewell between the fellow officers. Hunter's last farewell between his fellow officers went viral all over the US as it was really emotional. We hope that his legacy won’t be forgotten soon. What a hero!
