Lost Senior Pit Bull Adopted By Police Department As They Couldn't Find His Home

Ohio’s Kirtland Police Department Saved a dog from streets in March 2016. They shared that hoping its owner would come to pick him up. However, no one came for the dog after a few weeks.

So, the police department decided to adopt the dog instead of dropping John Doe, the dog, at the pound. They shared the story on Facebook saying that the dog, who was renamed to JD, was adopted by the Kirtland Police Association with the permission of the Mayor and the Chief.

They added that they tried to find the dog’s owners, but no avail. Thankfully, the dog now has great people who love him. He is also taken by some officers home! He always has great days as he is taken to the park.
