A call came to Anti-Poaching Team of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy about a baby elephant that was being stalked by lions after losing his herd and mama. So, they directly sent their rangers to save the calf.
Fortunately, the rangers were able to save the baby elephant and get him back to his family safe and sound. They did their best by keeping him calm while leading him toward his herd and mother.
When the rangers were very close to the herd, the calf's mama came over and took him. Thankfully, the baby elephant eventually reunited with his herd and mama.
Thanks to the rangers and Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, who saved this baby animal from lions and led him back to his family.
