Devoted Mama Nutria Melts Hearts Of Millions As She Keeps Her Baby Cub Dry On Her Belly
by Petneeds Admin
An awesome moment of a mama otter and her cub was caught on video by a 40-year-old photographer called Suzi Eszterhas in the water in Monterey Bay, California.
Just like any other mother, the mama just wanted to keep her cub dry and warm, so, she slept on her back and placed her cub on her belly while swimming. The mama even blew some air into her cub's fur to keep it dried.
The photographer said that seeing otters very close to where she was standing surprised her. Otters live in the sea and can get their food from eating little animals below the surface. In general, mothers keep their cubs above the water and dive in the water to get the food for them.
There are more than 3,000 otters living in the coast of California and we are very lucky to see this adorable moment between the mama and her cub. Watch the video below.
