Unfortunately, homeless people are existent anywhere, but there are some places seem abnormal like zoos or animal shelters. And that is completely where this homeless man was found. But, the reason of why he stays there touched the hearts of thousands.

The workers of DeKalb County Animal Services were perplexed when they saw the homeless man sleeping outside the front door.

They knew, when they spoke with him, his sad story. Which broke their hearts. The spokesperson of the shelter, Sia Karen Hirsch, said that the man had missed his dog, and he had spent all of his money to pay to reach the shelter. He was hoping that he would find his dog in the shelter.

Luckily for him, his lost dog had been picked up before 2 weeks. But there was a problem caused the man to be really upset. The problem was that the dog at the animal service's new building which was out of the town. So, the homeless man realized that he had to walk to be there, but that would take so long. So, the kennel tech stood with the man and decided to pay all the cost of the train ride over.

The man broke down in tears because the friendliness was shown for him is something rare. The rescuers at the new building knew the little dog, who is named Tata, she was happy and healthy. Thankfully, the homeless man finally reunited with his dog, which made him so happy.

The shelter decided to help the homeless man by waiving their fees due to reunite the man and his best friend. And they also give then assistance in the future.

Furthermore, DeKalb County Animal Services started a program which aims to help homeless people in the area.
