A shrimp boat captain called Keith "Kiwi" Soffes always spends time with Monster, his dog during his trips on the boat. They are more than just friends, and spend all the time together.

But one day, the trip became heartbroken for the man from San Leon, Texas, as Monster fell overboard! Keith was devastated and shared his story on Facebook as he has never been with Monster.

But the heartwarming news soon came as the dog swam for almost 6 miles to the shore, according to FOX 26 Houston.

The captain did not believe what happened! He claimed that swimming for that long by Monster was so incredible despite being a great swimmer! Thankfully, the man and his dog finally had an emotional reunion! What a happy ending! Watch the video below.
