Heartwarming Moment Drone Reunites Owner With His Missing Blind Dog

A heartwarming video captured the moment when a blind dog, who had gone missing was reunited with her owner with the help of a drone.

The owner of Molly, an 11 year Labrador had spent three days searching for her. Was worried that she might have passed away.

Eventually he decided to reach out to Drone to Home, a charity that utilizes drones to locate lost animals.

Remarkably the team managed to find Molly in Tissington, Derbyshire within two hours of receiving the call. The overjoyed owner immediately went to pick her up.

Throughout the process the drone kept its focus on Molly until her owner arrived. This allowed them to capture the heart melting moment of their reunion, on camera.

Phil James, CEO of Drone to Home shared his emotions saying; "I don't usually get emotional but seeing that Labrador brought tears to my eyes. I am extremely happy for the owners witnessing their joy."

Phil, who is also the drone operator and instructor for this organization embarked on his mission in 2019 with only himself and one drone.

Initially self funded by Phil himself Drone to Home officially became a registered charity in April year.

Phil further added; "To date we have successfully reunited 2,487 dogs along, with three ponies, an emu, a skunk and nine cows."

"We typically receive, around 40 calls and messages per day through our virtual call center. We are fortunate to have a team of 11 volunteers who handle these inquiries."

"We genuinely love what we do and consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have the job in the world."

this year there was a heartwarming story of a dog that had been missing for eight months. Miraculously it was eventually reunited with its owner after being discovered in an ambulance that had traveled 50 miles away from home.

Emma Darling, a resident of Powys in Wales couldn't believe her luck when Jazz, her cocker spaniel was found by paramedics, in Wolverhampton.

The compassionate paramedics promptly brought Jazz to a clinic where they scanned her microchip. With the information obtained from the chip they were able to contact Emma and reunite her with her companion.
