After enduring bee stings Stinger, a Pit Bull was left behind at a shelter, by his parents in the aftermath of the unfortunate incident.
When Stinger arrived at the shelter he was covered in lesions that posed a threat to his life.

The shelter staff initially considered euthanizing him due to the extent of his injuries as they felt unable to provide the care for a dog in critical condition.
However Carri Shipaila, who operates LuvnPupz rescue in Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan stepped up to help. Soon as she heard about Stingers situation she immediately drove for an hour, to the shelter to bring him to safety.

Carri wasted no time in starting the process of saving Stingers life. Despite his familys lack of support she diligently treated him for his bee stings, subsequent skin infection and sarcoptic mange.

Unfortunately during his recovery process Stinger developed Pemphigus, a disease that would affect him throughout his remaining years.
