9 Year Old Boy Managed To Raise Almost $80,000 To Buy Bulletproof Vests For K9 Officers

A young boy, from Ohio has managed to gather $80,000 with the intention of purchasing bulletproof vests for police dogs.

As reported by WSYX a 9-year-old Brady Snakovsky from Strongsville initiated a campaign to raise funds for bulletproof vests that would protect K9 officers. As of Wednesday morning he has successfully raised $79,805 out of his targeted goal of $85,000.

In the description on the page it is stated that Bradys initial objective was to gather funds for one ballistic vest for a K9 in need. Thanks to the support from his family, the community and Line Of Fire Defence Systems Brady was able to go and beyond by donating not just one but four ballistic vests for K9s.

According to the website of Bradys K9 Fund they have already donated 84 vests to K9s. The website emphasizes their belief that canine police officers should receive a level of protection as their human counterparts.

Their mission prioritizes providing as officers, as possible with protective gear so that they can safely return home at the end of their shifts.

Bradys mother, Leah Tornabene actively assists him in this endeavor.
