It wasn't her forever home, Senior Dog Surrendered To Shelter After 11 Years

After spending 11 years with her family a dog named Pretty Girl was sadly given up. Brought to a shelter, in Central Washington. Fortunately the Seattle Humane Shelter came to her rescue in time.


Brandon Macz, the social media specialist for the organizations TikTok account shared that Pretty Girl had lost her home due to the stress she experienced with a baby in the household. Being highly sensitive to noises and with newborns crying frequently it seemed that Pretty Girl no longer fit into their living situation. Its puzzling how an animal shelter could provide a quieter environment for her though.

Among the applicants there was one application, from a couple that stood out. These lovely individuals had previously adopted dogs who needed some time to relax and adapt.



Pretty Girl was hesitant to leave her sheltered space. Her new mother kindly offered her a ride. It's truly heartwarming.
