John Travolta posts adorable photos with his rescue dog Peanut

We absolutely adore seeing pictures and videos of people spending quality time with their pets. It doesn't matter how well known you are the love of a dog can truly be the thing, in the world.

One particular celebrity pet that holds a place in our hearts is Peanut, a cute rescue dog who was showcased by Jamie Lee Curtis during her Oscar night tribute to Betty White before finding a forever home with John Travolta.

Recently the iconic star shared another heartwarming photo featuring himself and Peanut. It's just too adorable for words.

Travolta, who is 69 years old recently posted a picture of him sharing a slice of pizza with Peanut. This lovable pup happens to belong to his son Benjamin.

If that wasn't already cuteness overload Travolta also shared another photo where hes peacefully sleeping while Peanut cozily snuggles up next to him for a nap.

Since adopting Peanut March, the star of Saturday Night Fever has been generous, in sharing precious moments captured with this furry family member.

Year there was even a video showing this adorable pup waking Travolta up with some delightful doggy kisses. Travolta captioned it saying, "This is how Bens dog Peanut starts my day."

Peanuts adoption journey

It's evident that Peanut has truly discovered the home, with the Travoltas and the tale of how he became part of the Pulp Fiction stars family is one of the heartwarming Hollywood stories in recent years.

During the "in memoriam" section of the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony Jamie Lee Curtis honored TV icon and animal advocate Betty White, who had passed away in December of the year.

She graced the stage holding Peanut, who was then a rescue puppy named Mac N Cheese from Paw Works searching for a home.

"Not was she a Golden Girl. She was also a legend who brought light to every room she entered and brought smiles to all who watched her on screen " Curtis expressed during her tribute to White. "And for a century day after day she was someone who cared deeply not for her human friends but also for animals like this one."

"So the greatest tribute we can give Betty White is to open our hearts and homes and adopt rescue dogs like Mac N Cheese from Paw Works. Thank you Betty. Thank you for being a friend, to us all."

The adorable little dog brought joy to people, over the world. It left a lasting impression on Travolta. Backstage at the Oscars the actor caught up with Curtis, his friend and co star from the 1985 film Perfect. Unable to resist they took a picture with the rescue dog.

Realizing that it was a match Travolta decided to adopt the dog, for his son Benjamin giving Peanut a Hollywood ending."

We're incredibly happy that Peanut is living her life with the Travolta family! These photos are absolutely adorable – it's clear that everything happened just as it was meant to be ❤️
