Great Dane Who Survived Multiple Surrenders, Gives Birth To Little Of 15 Puppies

Perfectly Imperfect Pups (PIPs) a rescue organization based in Raleigh recently shared the news of Meadows litter born. This is the litter they have ever had since they started three years ago.



Meadows foster mom, Shari Wilson expressed her joy and amazement at having not 15 puppies but 15 healthy and thriving puppies. She mentioned that all the pups are gaining weight eating well and doing exceptionally.



Meadow is a 2 year Great Dane who gave birth to a mix of three girls and twelve boys. Some of their names include Otis, Bailey, Fiona, Duke, Winston, Bruno and Buster.



Wilson acknowledged that taking care of fifteen puppies requires a lot of food and effort. However she also expressed her love, for helping litters like this one as it brings satisfaction to her.



Reflecting on Meadows labor process from Tuesday morning until Wednesday morning at 3;45 am Wilson mentioned that the veterinarian had initially anticipated a litter size of around 12 to 14 puppies. However there was a surprise when puppy number fifteen made its entrance, into the world in their front yard while Wilson thought Meadow was just taking a bathroom break.
". When I looked down there was this little puppy."



Ever since their heartwarming story gained attention and got featured in People Magazine these puppies have been receiving deliveries from Amazon.



"Rescue shelters are facing a need at the moment. So if you're able to contribute anything be it donations or food supplies we welcome any support " Wilson expressed.



Meadow has been, through five homes since she gave birth to a litter of 14 puppies back, in February. Unfortunately not all of the puppies survived. Wilson mentioned that this will be Meadows litter and her next home will be her home.
