Couple Who Adopts A Tiny Shelter Pup Realizes They Have Brought Home Something Entirely Different

 

When Sue Markham brought home a puppy, from the shelter she had no clue about the surprise that awaited her.



Robert Markham wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of getting a dog. Thankfully, he. Agreed to get a puppy. Thus Sue Markham brought home a Jack Russell terrier—. So she believed.



They named the pup Yogi Bear. He didn't stay little for long. The small pup started growing. It soon dawned on the Markhams that he was actually a Boston Great Dane, not the Jack Russell terrier they were told.



Although it came quite a shock to them the Markhams have learned to embrace their dog. They now shower him with loads of affection.

Weighing around 200 pounds and measuring 6 feet from nose to tail this enormous Great Dane has become a part of their lives.



"I thought to myself 'How trouble can a Jack Russell be?'" Sue Markham shared with the Daily Mail. ". By the time he turned five months old he towered over every Jack Russell at the park, with his tongue hanging out. His tail resembling a baseball bat."Yogi Bear doesn't allow his size to hinder his enjoyment. Despite being a dog he has a canine companion named Toffee, who adores cuddling and unwinding with Yogi.





Yogis size also brings about an appetite. The Markham family spends $235, per month on the dogs food. Yogi relishes scrambled eggs and sausages.

Although the Markhams hadn't anticipated having such a dog they are certainly grateful that they chose Yogi!
