Abandoned Dog Found Chained In Backyard Couldn't Believe That He Is Being Rescued

One day when a man returned to his home, in Detroit he came across a dog that was chained up in a backyard. Without hesitation he immediately called for assistance.

Fortunately Rebel Dogs Detroit promptly responded to the call. Sent Tiffany Perkins, one of their volunteers to investigate the situation. Upon arriving at the scene Tiffany wasn't sure what to expect. However her heart melted when she first laid eyes on Beaker.

According to Perkins Beaker appeared frightened. Sought refuge behind the garage. He glanced outside momentarily as I started calling out to him.. As I approached closer his tail began wagging with excitement. Soon as we started gently massaging him he visibly. Leaned into us for support. Due to his enthusiasm and endearing "meep" sounds reminiscent of a Muppet character we affectionately nicknamed him Beaker.

Having been abandoned and restrained by a chain before our arrival it's understandable that Beaker would have felt anxious initially. However once he realized that Perkins was there to help him all his worries seemed to vanish. He became overjoyed at the prospect of meeting his friend.

Perkins fondly recalled how Beaker eagerly dropped down onto the ground, for belly rubs, kisses and playful antics once we released him from the garage chain.

Sadly though the chain had become tangled around Beakers neck during his ordeal; therefore Perkins swiftly took him to the veterinarian for an examination.

Perkins took advantage of the time to shower Beaker with affection something he had never experienced before while they patiently waited for Beaker to undergo the procedure of removing the chain. Consequently the adorable puppy was filled with joy and happiness.

During the wait, for surgery Perkins mentioned, "We spent a lot of quality time together" during our five hour car ride. He soon drifted off to sleep with his head resting on my lap.

Despite everything Beaker had been through his one and only wish was to feel loved. Now that longing had finally been fulfilled.

As Beaker recovers from surgery in his home he is the dog you could ever meet. His past experiences seem distant now; what truly matters is where he is at this moment and all the new friends who genuinely care about him and want nothing but the best, for him.

According to Perkins Beaker is slowly adapting to being a dog who receives love from his foster home.

Beaker dreams of finding his perfect where he can have a playful canine companion who can continue teaching him new things and provide him with a nurturing environment. He eagerly looks forward to finding the loving family he deserves and was immensely grateful upon seeing his rescuers.
